Vijana kwa Vijana Initiative is an organization whose mission is to create economic opportunities for young people in Kenya. Vijana kwa Vijana Initiative strives to be a catalyst of change in Kenya and empower Kenyan youth with skills, knowledge, and opportunities to positively impact their communities.
We work with local partners to provide vocational training, entrepreneurial opportunities and business start-up support.
We provide computer literacy training for the youth to empower them with skills and knowledge that will enable them to have an in-depth understanding of the ways in which computers and information technology can facilitate their lives.
VKV strives to create opportunities that empower the rural poor while providing them with skills they can use to sustain themselves and their communities.
The main focus is on income generating activities such as agriculture, livestock management poultry farming and talent development. VKV strives to help youth to establish business enterprises and other income generating projects across different parts of Kirinyaga County by promoting social enterprises.
At Vijana kwa Vijana Initiative, we seek to empower young people as a vehicle to alleviate poverty, with a focus on Kirinyaga County.
